Former Client Finally Scores

One of my first clients at Risdall Advertising was Doug Nill, farmer turned attorney. He took on a huge case against BASF. The basics of the case were that they were using the same pesticide and using different brand names for different products and charging more for some brand names then others. He was charging BASF with fraud stating that BASF was cheating it’s consumers by charging more for some products that were exactly the same as others.

I worked with him for 9 years at the agency, designing a website, ads and doing public relations work. We never knew if and when he would pay us because he was throwing all of his money and time into this case. When I left the agency last year we still hadn’t got paid. But, maybe now this will change.

This story even made it in the Summit Daily.
